The Salt and Light of the Earth

The light is a
center of my writing for three Sundays latest. From 3 Sunday ago I speak about
the light. Yet today, we speak about the light. But, not also the light, there
is a salt. The todays refrain is you are the salt and the light of the earth.
My friend Margaretha speaks about two things when we were
studying with the children. She said to me that it is more difficult to explain
to the children about these things. What is mean the salt and the light of the
earth? I also certainly more difficult to explain it. However, she tried to
explain. At the end, she asked to all children what means the salt and the
light of the earth.
One child explains very well. He said that, it is mean we
must share for others in everything. I think this is really. The light gives
light and the salt gives taste in every kind of food.
Father Luciano puts the salt and the candle (the symbol
of light) on the altar when we celebrated the holy mass. In addition, before we
ended this mass, father Luciano blessed the people with the salt. May hope the
people become the salt and the light of the earth like the apostles.
