Just Welcome and Shaking Hand

In this part, Love Sunday 2, I want to share about a gesture. The gesture is a sign. My gesture different from your gesture. Everyone has gesture that different from the others. Now, I don’t speak about my gesture. I want to speak about the other, one of my friends.

Don Luciano usually says welcome to the flock that comes to St Christina Church. The old and the new, the adult and the children. Thus, he knows all people that follow the mass.

Not only say WELCOME but also give shake hand. Like at The East Culture (Asia) when we meet usually give shake hand one another. It is as a say welcome. I think not also in the East Culture, in another culture there is like this.

I remember a priest of the Orthodox-Romania Church. When we prayed the Ecumenical Praying, last night (January 21, 2014), he gives shake hand for all flocks. This gesture means he is saying welcome for all. As a flock, as a guest in this praying, I have a good feeling. I felt that this priest regard me as a guest, as a flock in his church.


What made by don Luciano and Father Gabriel (priest at Orthodox-Romania Church) is a simple gesture. But it gives a big hope for all that have seen and have received what did by two public figures.

When We Are Baptized?

Today, Sunday 12 January 2014, The Catholic Church celebrated the Feast of Baptism of the Lord. I participated in the holy mass of this feast at St Christina Parish. Like every Sunday when don Luciano doing the sermon, my friends and me also all children goes to the sacristy.

Today, my friend, Mark gave us the lesson about our baptism. Before it, he asked us when we are baptized. No one that remembers this time. Thus, all of us forget the date of our baptism. I also forgot the date of my baptism.

In the bible (reading) that we heard today, be shown the baptism of the Lord. John baptized Lord or Jesus in Jordan River. Jesus, like all human were baptized, like all of us, Christian. Jesus becomes human. He wants to enter in human living, in our living.

All children were happy when listening the lesson of Mark. Mark is one of my friends that always give lessons for the children in St Christian Parish. Mark and I like the others friend can call the teacher. But, now, I am a listener in the every Sunday when did it. I can’t explain to the children. My skill in Italian Language is low. Maybe after 3-4 months from now, I can do this task. But I always try to speak, to explain together them.***

Hallo readers, thanks to you that visit my blog. This is my blog that content my activity daily. I also use this page to practice my English language. My English not good but I want to become the man that has good English. I hope critic that supportly from my readers. I am a student that studying Italian language now but I want to use my English. My friends said that if you do not your English, that is dead. It is becoming the sign for me to use my English in daily activity. Maybe not in speak but I can try it in writing or scripture.


This writing is not good maybe. However, I want to write. It has helped me to practice my skill in English language. I am sorry if I write badly. I try to repair my writing every write my journal. Moreover, I try to write so that the reader understand my writing. End, my thanks to you that read this writing.
