The Greatest Light

In this Love Sunday 3, I want to share about The Great
Light. This is a center of Jesus’s word today (January 26, 2014). He said that
all people that live in the darkness have seen a great light. He was saying in
the past participle and not in the future. That means the light have come. But,
did we see this great light?
In the meeting with the
children today, my friend Simon said that Jesus calls us to see the great
light. We are called to be a priest, pope, bishop, religious, and so on and
others be called to be father and mother in one family. I think We are one
family. Like Santo Conforti said, “We are called to be one family”.
This is our vocation.
There is not superior one another. All this same. The end of our vocation or
our life is seeing the great light. We are going in there.
In the sacristy, I speak
with Father Luciano. He asked me, “Are you see that many people come in this
church every Sunday?”
“Yes, Father, I see.” I
see that many people come into this church.
“This is the great light,”
I said.
He laughs when he hears my
responds. I think that they come to see the great light. Therefore, Father
Luciano and also I and other catechists must give the great light for them. I
think this is our task that is give the great light for others.
All human call for this.
Not only the Catholics, but also all religion included the atheists. The great
light appears through at our daily activity. So that the great light not also
the center of one religion. But that is the center of our life.
